Examples of square units are cm² (square centimetres), m² (square metres), mm² (square millimetres) and km² (square kilometres). Examples of cubic units are cm³ (cubic centimetres), m³ (cubic metres), mm³ (cubic millimetres) and km³ (cubic kilometres).
